Fantastic to see how brilliantly the Villa Ladies team is progressing. UTMVL! So many aspects of how they play is preferrable to the cheat-ridden male equivalent. I would hate to see Ladies football descend into mire of the men's game. I applaud the No Room for Racism campaign but would love to see a time when there was equally no room for cheats and likewise for those who ask for cheating behaviour. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Aston Villa and was gutted that Jack's dive went unpunished and gained what he and the City fan's desired. Cheats do prosper in the men's game. Yet the shirt-pulling, play acting, taking a yellow, time wasting, atacking the referee, etc well, lets see an end to it. Having been to watch the Ladies play, I adore the family atmosphere and would love to see this developed more. Bring Bella, Hercules and Chip along to each match. No children mascots at this game, disappointing but opportunities for the club to do something with this at away games. Ask Acorns Children's Hospice to let Alex the Acorn, their mascot attend matches! On that point - let's have ACORNS on EVERY Villa shirt, as we so proudly used to do and NOT some scabby car sale or betting company that besmirches the name Aston Villa.
