youd think a club this size would at the very least be able to avoid becoming the team that has conceded the most goals in the entire football league this season. don't deserve to get promoted on that stat alone.. pathetic

Villa's decline has been slow but inevitable in the absence of Grealish. They have missed his creation, and probably even more, his ball retention. As they started to lose games, Smith changed the way they play, which meant players being forced to do jobs they do not excel at. The negativity created by failure has fed upon itself and confidence has evaporated. WBA have a very decent squad and the loss of Harvey Barnes has not proven so crucial. They seem to have what it takes to reach the play-off final and certainly have enough of the dark arts to go all the way. Salvaging vital points with late goals earned by handball and diving show that they have the necessary cynicism. Sending another Villa player to the hospital keeps up a long tradition. Fortunately for Albion they didn't have to play very well to beat Villa easily and that is what dismayed the Villa faithful. Only winning games will spark Villa back into their former selves. The return of Grealish will be crucial for that to happen.

Here's one for you all... what do you call Villa without Grealish...? Jack sxxt!!! Absolute torment this is. Give Dean the summer, and once some of these reprobates are out the door, he can start building a side in his own image. Can't judge him by these players standards. Keep the faith. I’ve just had an idea, when Jack, Axel and Chezzy are back we put Chester at RCB for Elphick, Jack LCM and Axel at CDM. I think that would work for us.

To many mediocre players getting big wages to turn out every game and give nothing. Even when they give their all they barely do anything. No consistency, no creativity most of them don’t even do the basics well enough. O’hare should have been played instead of Elmo or elghazi as an inside forward like Grealish when he broke through. Young Ramsey needs to start as attacking midfielder to add some creativity and forward thinking.

Hourihane dreadful yet again, the booing when he was subbed off wasn't fair but you could understand the fans frustration with him. Ramsey was clueless when he came on, fair play for giving the youngster a chance but we should've kept O'Hare and gave him the game time instead. Defense was better, Hause was okay at full back but you could see glimpses that he was lacking sharpness. Tammy had no support, Elmohammedy was good at pressing the back line but he's not good as a winger and his tracking back/marking was bad at times. Missing the quality in midfield which is why El Ghazi should replace Hourihane in the middle and he should run at defenders with the ball because he has that ability and a decent shot on him. Green should start more games, start with 2 up top so we can try and get Tammy in the game more and not just cross to him for 90 minutes. McGinn looks worn out but he now has a 2 match ban for having 10 yellows. Still can't see what Smith is offering at the moment, yes he's missing Grealish but he should be able to deal with that. Grealish gets taken out few times a game and any of those challenges could end up in another long term injury, then what? Season over again?

Tammy has missed 5 sitters against West Brom this season.

Absent midfielders , who was responsible for Holgate, & 2nd goal: defender just kicked to the middle , lost pisession - it is cut , no more. Then Deflection - and in this case it was a "goddess luck" on WB side.

Change our style of play. I love Deano but our squad isn't young enough/ fit enough to play this attacking football. They get tired after 40 mins and then we sit back and concede .
